Job Position: Software Engineer
Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position:
1) Lead the creation of automation & Core libraries for Design Verification (DV) for Cloud based solutions using GCP, Angular, Spring, SQL.2) Lead teams in other Ford Regions for supporting Core HiL DV methods and code development.
3) Create software solutions for XIL toolchain for automation and semi-automation4) Support in the training and mentoring of Software and Agile methodology for other regions such Germany, Brazil and North America.
5) Design and development of Python/C/C++/Java scripts/projects to support testing activities in HiL DV domain
Qualifications
1. **Note: This position accepts candidates GSR 7 & 8.
2. Expertise with software development, agile development, TDD and DDD, OOP3. Expertise on problem solving, algorithms and requirements analysis, API development
4. Expertise with Java, Angular, SQL, spring, and cloud, Jira, Jenkins, Sonarqube, unit testing, crunch42 & APIGEE.
5. Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering, Computer science or related requiredResponsibilities
. Knowledge of software design patterns, Object Oriented Programing & code optimization
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills both English and Spanish.
3. Able to work flexibly across multiple code languages such as Java, C, C#, and Python.4. Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, github actions, CI / CD, nexus, JFrog
5. Able to simultaneously work on multiple projects while independently managing their time.
6. Able to develop new expertise as needed. Possess the character and interpersonal skills required to serve as a trusted advisor.
7. Expertise with cloud tools such as Google Cloud Platform and Pivotal Cloud Foundry, API development.
8. Expertise of databases languages such as SQL, T-SQL and non-relational databases such as Hadoop, Mongo DB.
