      Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)


      Job Description

      As an integral part of the clinical team, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is primarily responsible for providing safe, evidence-based care for patients while offering exceptional support and anticipating the needs of both clinicians and patients.

      Responsibilities

      • Monitor, document, and communicate patients’ vital statistics and measurements.
      • Conduct specimen collection.
      • Observe and note any physical or emotional changes in patients.
      • Prepare examination rooms for patient visits.
      • Choose, prepare, and manage medical supplies and equipment.
      • Ensure the patient environment is comfortable, organized, safe, and hygienic.
      • Maintain accurate records of patient information.
      • Prepare patients for follow-up care post-treatment.
      • Potentially guide and educate other LPNs.
      • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on nursing-related issues.
      • Organize and manage scheduling for patients and necessary medical tests.

      Essential Skills

      • Proven capability to thrive in dynamic, multi-specialty medical settings.
      • Valid LPN License in the state of Connecticut.
      • Attendance and reliability.
      • Experience with EPIC systems.
      • 1-2 years of medical office experience.
      • Skills in triage, care management, and patient care.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Strong communication skills.
      • Experience in medical office settings.

      Work Environment

      The position will be based in a multispecialty office located in Guilford. The standard schedule is from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility required to adjust between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM. This is a full-time position comprising 40 hours per week, with potential for early or extended hours as needed.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
