      Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, dynamic professional Young Adult Services Operations Manager to join our team! The Young Adult Services Operations Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and stewarding relationships with various stakeholders, and establishing consistent referral sources to support the Goodwill’s Young Adult Opportunity Campus. The Young Adult Operations Manager will oversee young adult programing, events, stakeholders, and support staff and students within the Young Adult Opportunity Campus.       Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

      Essential Duties and Tasks:

      • Develop and implement operational plans that align with program goals and objectives.
      • Oversee program development, including designing and implementing new programs and services.
      • Manage day-to-day operations, including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
      • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders (i.e., employers, community partners, volunteers) to increase awareness of and support for Goodwill’s Young Adult Opportunity Campus. Creates an environment that drives positive relationships with Goodwill participants, employees, and stakeholders to successfully implement Goodwill’s mission services.
      • Creates an environment that drives positive relationships with Goodwill young adults and employees to successfully implement Goodwill’s mission services to support a positive impact the young adults served.
      • Assigns duties and coordinates activities of staff, volunteers, employer, and community partners providing services to participants using Goodwill’s Young Adult Opportunity Campus.
      • Potential oversight and management of satellite Goodwill’s Young Adult Opportunity Campus.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      Education and Experience:

      • Bachelor’s Degree required.
      • Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience education, psychology, social work, human services, or related field.
      • Must have extensive working knowledge of employment practices, workforce system, employer organizations, job training, case management, job coaching, medical, psychological, social, and vocational aspects of disability and/ or disadvantaging conditions; and community resources.
      • Knowledge of mental health and education systems and the challenges faced by youth and young adults from diverse backgrounds is preferred.
      • Must have a strong work ethic with the ability to provide positive leadership in a flexible, transforming environment where self- direction, prioritizing, initiative, and organizational skills will be crucial to success.
      • Must be flexible, multi-task oriented and able to prioritize job duties with minimal supervision, including the ability to be flexible in work hours and work locations.

      Physical Demands:

      • This job may have physical requirements that are considered sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting for long periods of time at a desk working on a computer; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity. Sedentary work includes lifting up to 15lbs occasionally and/or up to 10lbs frequently.
      • Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is occasionally required.
