      Overview

      Seeking a warm, professional, and experienced live-in housekeeper for a busy family (three young children) in Kensington, London. The family would love for someone to start as soon as possible.

      Responsibilities

      Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to,

      • All cleaning (mopping, dusting, vacuuming, etc) and tidying
      • Laundry and ironing
      • Bed-making and turn downs
      • Deep cleaning
      • Errands
      • Grocery shopping and ensuring the home is fully stocked with all household, food, and drink items
      • And really anything that contributes to the smooth running of the home and a warm, welcoming, and beautifully presented environment
      • Helping with a very friendly teenage dog
      • House and dog-sitting when the family travel (most holidays and half terms)
      • Evening meal prep, for the three children and occasionally for the parents

      Requirements

      Candidates should have at least 5 years prior experience in a private home and previous hotel experience would also be appreciated. The ideal candidate:

      • Takes pride in their work, displays impressive attention to detail, and will look after the home as their own
      • Has a real 'pitch-in' attitude
      • Demonstrates initiative and has a lovely, positive, and friendly demeanour
      • Understands the importance of discretion
      • Should be full of common sense and happy to work independently without much oversight or direction
