      Job Title: Assistant Manager

      Essential Function

      Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, overseeing store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies to achieve KPIs and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager and are responsible for all primary duties in their absence.

      Primary Duties

      • 30% Brand: Supervise and support associates' daily goals and activities to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive loyalty. Ensure brand standards such as merchandising, POGs, marketing, dress code are met. Act as main contact for customer issues and analyze store trends.
      • 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve results. Recruit and build a strong network of candidates. Identify strengths and opportunities for associates, coaching or counseling as needed. Maintain positive relations and communication, fostering diversity and inclusion.
      • 30% Operations: Ensure execution of company processes through training and analysis. Support digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment. Manage inventory, payroll, store opening/closing, and follow company directives.
      • 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe environment, follow policies, protect assets, manage inventory and cash controls, and ensure compliance with safety training and procedures.

      Knowledge, Skills/Abilities And Requirements

      • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Must be 18 years or older
      • Preferred: 3+ years retail/customer service experience
      • Preferred: 1+ year management experience
      • Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and meet scheduling needs
      • Cosmetology license desirable but not required
