      Description:
      Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a Solution Advisor providing Oracle Interoperability Solution expertise, knowledge, and support to the VA solution experts.

      • Support the translation of Oracle Health capabilities and nomenclature to enable VA understanding in partnership with the Solution Expert. Bring the VA-assigned solution experts up to speed in their respective areas with solution knowledge.
      • Provide analysis of Interoperability workflow/requirements and identify potential risks and pain points in the workflows. Work with Oracle and VA in build/design/workflow changes and/or enhancements for Interoperability solutions, such as Seamless Exchange, Joint Health Information Exchange, and Joint Legacy Viewer.
      • Apply configuration changes to Interoperability solutions in Oracle Health tools (core code builder, clinical content manager, Bedrock, Event Set Hierarchy, Discern Visual Developer).
      • Facilitate collaboration between the VHA, Oracle Health, and local sites.
      • Support Informaticists, as requested for Solutions, by providing strategic planning or documentation.
      • Support Solution Expert in translation of functional requirements.
      • Assist with management, escalation, and resolution of trouble tickets and change requests. Assist in reporting requirements/ mapping/ identification.
      • Provide solution knowledge expertise on Oracle interoperability as well as data ingestion/ data migration solutions.
      • Coordinate and monitor Oracle Health activities to support scope and schedule management.

      Minimum qualifications:
      • 5+ years of professional work experience
      • Works independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/clinical environment.
      • Acts as highest level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics and multiple platforms.
      • Responsible for project completion.
      • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
      • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or technical related field, or an additional 10 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements
      Preferred qualifications:
      • VA experience preferred
      • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
