Job Title: Teach to Lead (Long-term Substitute) Job Title Code: Salary Grade: $25/Hr Flat Rate Department: Human Resources Reports To: Building Administrator FLSA: Non-Exempt Date Prepared: July 25, 2022 We are currently accepting applications for Teach to Lead (Long-term Substitutes) for the 2022-2023 School Year Job Duties: Perform the classroom duties of an absent teacher, including the following: Prepare & execute course of study as prepared by Classroom Teacher, Building Administrator Manage the classroom so that curriculum guidelines/requirements are fulfilled Lecture, demonstrate, and use appropriate teaching aids to present subject matter to the students Prepare, administer &/or correct assignments & tests Record grades, attendance, academic achievement Assist as directed by the building administration (Including clerical, cafeteria, bus duty, etc.) Minimum Requirement Must have completed a minimum of 36 semester hours from a regionally accredited, academic degree-granting, college or university or completion of 20 hours of online training or hold a Bachelors degree in any field. Must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Must hold a Valid Content Substitute Certificate at the time of hire. Must pass the pre-employment background investigation. Must committ to working towards completing a teaching certification including Pathway Meetings | Mentorship | Check-Ins PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
