      Our Next Gen RF Sensors team is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in McKinney, TX. *Must be able to work onsite in McKinney, TX. Relocation assistance available provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements.

      Job functions for a Software Engineer include:

      Participation on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, often employing agile software development techniques and resources to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions. Responsible for some or all of a Software product, contributing as a software team member. Responsibilities spanning the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test, and field support.

      Basic Qualifications:

      Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or related field.

      This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

      Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

      U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      Experience with C, C++, or Java and Red Hat Linux or equivalent OS.

      Willingness to travel, if necessary, to support system integration and test, customer events, and related external activities. Experience with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration and Test-Driven Development Methodologies.

      Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

      Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

      Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

      The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

      This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
