The Role:
At Moderna, our mission is to deliver the greatest possible impact to people through mRNA medicines. Our singular focus is on using our mRNA platform and the innovative infrastructure we have built to deliver a new generation of transformative medicines for patients.
Moderna is seeking MBA students to join the Commercial team for our Summer 2024 MBA internship program. The vision for our Commercial team is to put our consumers at the heart of everything we do. We aim to integrate consumer voice into how we innovate across the organization so that we launch highly differentiated vaccines, therapeutics, and services that maximize value for all consumers. Building upon the three key characteristics of our platform: Speed, Proven, and Agile, we strive to develop a seamless and unparalleled consumer experience that helps Moderna deliver a new generation of transformative medicines to patients. Over the summer, the Commercial MBA Interns will each be deeply embedded in one of our dynamic teams and engage cross-functionally as they execute critical projects aligned with our Commercial vision and strategy.
The ideal Commercial MBA intern candidate draws from a broad base of prior pharmaceutical / biotech industry experience and is a self-starter who is excellent at navigating ambiguity. They are someone who prioritizes customer needs above all else. They should have a proven track record of converting consumer insights into effective strategies and initiatives. The candidate must have demonstrated their ability to drive results and make significant contributions in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Additionally, strong analytic and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, are essential for success in this role.
The Moderna MBA Programs:
In addition to contributing to strategic projects on their teams, our MBA interns will have the opportunity to engage with our senior leaders, build lasting bonds with their cohort members, and participate in development opportunities that are unique to Moderna’s innovative platform and culture. They will also gain insight into Moderna’s MBA Leadership Accelerator Program, an 18-month program designed to develop Moderna’s next generation of enterprise leaders. MBA interns who receive full-time offers after their internship would return to Moderna upon graduation as part of this exciting program.
