- Your responsibilities may include supporting concept development, detailed design, analysis, integration and test, support of transition to production efforts, factory production line support and product improvement.
- Additional duties may include root cause / corrective action and problem resolution at our on-site labs and factories or at various suppliers. Candidate will work closely with Integrated Product Team Leads/Program Managers to ensure that engineering requirements are defined, risks are managed, and schedules/budgets are met.
- You will work within the process to ensure Technical Data Package quality per ASM Y14.5.
- You will work under supervision of an Engineering team lead in performing your duties.
- As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, your decisions will be data driven in nature and require preparing technical justification analysis reports as well as presenting to a variety of Engineering Review Boards.
- 3D Parametric Modeling
- Communication of technical information by way of presentations and other means
- This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore year by the start of Summer 2026
- Must be pursuing as bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
- ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
- 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
- Experience with Creo modeling and drafting
- Experience with Windchill and configuration management
