What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with tournament administration, including processing applications and preparing competition materials
- Support the Junior Tour Director at various golf events and tournaments
- Engage in general office administration tasks, including responding to inquiries and maintaining social media
- Participate in on-site tournament work, including course marking and setup
- Provide support for the American Family Insurance Championship, including various operational tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be pursuing an education in sports administration or a related field
- Knowledge of golf and golf terminology
- Ability to travel around the state of Wisconsin (access to an automobile)
- Willingness to work weekends, early mornings, and long days as needed
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and database programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in sports event management or administration
- Familiarity with social media and digital marketing strategies
- Previous involvement in volunteer roles or internships in sports organizations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
