What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the vision and execution of services for students identified with autism
- Collaborate with behavior program leaders to align supports from Pre-K to 12th grade
- Design and manage the elementary Special Education autism program
- Provide coaching and support for students with escalated behavior needs
- Develop and implement district-wide support services for school discipline

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- At least 3 years of exemplary Special Education teaching experience
- Texas Educator Special Education Certification or equivalent certification
- Experience with self-contained autism programming
- Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Experience with teacher coaching or evaluation
- Current CPI, SafetyCare or similar de-escalation program certification
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and initiatives at once
