Job Description
- Req#: 125
- Daily course management on native based pushup greens with bent-poa mix
- Involvement with Bunker & Irrigation renovations while maintaining championship course conditions
- Chemical/Fertilizer calibrations, applications, and record keeping made to all areas of turf
- Field experience with irrigation and executing water management using Toro Lynx software
- Assist with onsite Aquatic Pond Water Management Program
- Leading staff meetings and giving directions for daily golf course maintenance
- 2 -4 year certification/degree in Turf Grass Management preferred, the right candidate with two or more years of golf course maintenance experience will be considered
- In possession of, or ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s license in categories 3A & 5 within 45 days of employment
- Proficient with hydraulic, conventional and two-wire systems
- Knowledge of irrigation equipment (hand and power tools)
- Valid driver’s license required with ability to clear Motor Vehicle Record Review
- Must be willing to work for extended periods of time outside in all forms of weather
- Must be willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Crystal Mountain Resort is looking for a motivated individual, dedicated to grow and excel in the golf course and resort industry. We offer year round employment as a member of both the golf course maintenance and snow removal teams.
Qualified candidates will work closely with the Superintendent, 1st Assistant Superintendent, Equipment Manager and staff in daily golf course management, cultural practices and processes. Individual(s) willing to lend themselves to this team process will benefit greatly and allow for a first class working experience.
Seeking individuals should be goal and detail orientated, enthusiastic about working within a team, and demonstrate strong leadership and decision making capabilities. With 36 holes of golf and a dedicated learning/practice facility to maintain, the individual will participate in all aspects of golf course maintenance such as, but not limited to:
