What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct thorough self-audits and monitor contract pharmacy activities to ensure compliance with the 340B Drug Pricing Program
- Educate staff on 340B-related procedures and develop training programs for professional development
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure data integrity and regulatory adherence
- Analyze data related to prescriptions and patient eligibility, producing financial metrics and compliance reports
- Oversee procurement and inventory processes for 340B-compliant pharmacies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two years of experience in pharmacy or accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced skills in Excel
- Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing software and 340B split-billing software
- Capability to excel in a high-stress environment
- Professional demeanor when dealing with departmental and public personnel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate degree in pharmacy, healthcare administration, business, accounting, or a related field
- Registration with the Georgia and/or Alabama Boards of Pharmacy and certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
- Completion of 340B University training and certification within 6 months of hire
