      Position Summary

      The 3PL Operations Lead is responsible for managing and following the process of distribution and fulfillment of orders within designated 3PL facility. This position is the main point of contact in communication with account management, logistics, and 3PL facility on daily operations for blank, finished goods product and inventory tasks and questions as well as working closely with our production and logistics departments to ensure that every order is processed accurately and shipped on time. This job is an operations lead-based position that requires the ideal candidate to be a strong multi task who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and involves both operational and inventory control responsibilities.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      • Coordinate with the distribution management in handling all administrative tasks concerning distribution operations and procedures--to include, but not limited to, inventory and logistics, and any ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
      • Prioritize order execution and make recommendations for additional resources when necessary.
      • Communicate with internal and external teams to obtain information necessary for the execution of shipments and other operational issues.
      • Ensure 3pL maintains customer and Mad Engine Global SLAs and customer packing and shipping requirements.
      • Responsible for reviewing & auditing weekly invoices.
      • Maintain inventory controls by ensuring all inventory transactions are recorded in the system immediately.
      • Maintains quality of service by following organization standards.
      • CTPAT adherence, regulation and recommendation for improvement
      • Receive inbound into company ERP system(s).
      • Physical verification of receiving’s/final counts turned in by the warehouse as needed.

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Minimum 2 years of experience in operation/warehouse setting.
      • Ability to work in a fast paced and performance-based environment.
      • Proficient in MS Office.
      • Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge
      • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
      • Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
      • Must work well under pressure.
      • Attention to detail is critical
      • Follow directions and ask clarifying questions
      • Works independently and within a team environment

      Working Conditions

      The environment can be fast-paced and requires the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet various deadlines. Although it is a casual work environment, professionalism and proper work etiquette are expected.

      Physical/Mental Requirements

      This position is mostly stationary. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stop. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus to accommodate frequent reading and analyzing details on various spreadsheets and templates. The person in this position frequently communicates with various other departments and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. High levels of problem-solving analytical thinking and interpreting data are required daily in order to make the appropriate decisions in each scenario. This is an onsite position; the employee must be able to work from the facility on workdays.
