What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the end-to-end patching process for servers and workstations for customers
- Regularly assess patch compliance and address vulnerabilities to maintain system integrity
- Investigate patching failures, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with teams for smooth deployments
- Document patching activities, maintain accurate records, and update status reports in the case management system
- Leverage tools and scripts to streamline patch deployment and improve operational efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience in an IT support Help Desk-related role
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues related to patching and support
- Ability to work a 3rd shift schedule of Thursday-Monday from 7pm-4am CST
- Working knowledge of SCCM, InTune, Kaseya, and WSUS
- Basic networking skills and experience with DNS and DHCP
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or KVM
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and Azure Systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
