    • Support daily functions of the school including but not limited to arrival, dismissal, snack, lunch coverage,recess and covering classrooms as needed.
    • Provide Individualized 1:1 and/or small group instruction under the direction of the classroom teacher.
    • Collect, track and enter student data in the moment; as well as enter data into school and district data base.
    • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff.
    • Remain proficient in and perform competency based training in principles of learning and applied behavior methodology.
    • Implement academic and behavioral programming.
    • Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
    • Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional times.
    • Implement continuous and discontinuous data collection.
    • Complete all necessary paperwork for data keeping.
    • Clean and organize instructional materials, supplies, and classroom.
    • Participate in clinical reviews.
    • Assist in creating student materials.
    • Take all necessary precautions to protect and maintain safety of student’s at all times.
    • Maintain annual certification in Safety Care procedures.
    • Assist with toileting and other daily living skills activities.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Uphold CREC policies.
    • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
    • Computer skills needed to utilize digital instructional/behavioral programs as well as to perform data entry for tracking student achievement.
    • Organization and time management skills.

    • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff and others contacted in the course of work.

    • Ability to report work orally or in writing to supervisor as required.

    • Lift greater than 50 pounds.
    • Get from kneeling to standing and standing to kneeling with ease and without outside support.
    • Kneel on one knee, both knees.
    • Get up and down from floor without assistance.
    • Bend from the legs with ease.
    • Shuffle quickly on your feet front to back, back to front, side to side.
    • Works in standard office, school building environments, and on buses or vans.
    • Ability to work outdoors during outdoor student activities.
    • High School Degree minimum; RBT certification preferred; Minimum of 1 year experience with individuals with autism and/or disabilities .

      Position Purpose
      Under the supervision of school administration or designee, to support one to one classroom instruction, provide academic and behavioral intervention, and other general instructional support duties throughout the school utilizing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) methodology.

      Essential Job Functions
