      Sydney Water are seeking an Aboriginal Partnerships Lead for a 2 year fixed term opportunity, who will establish long term-partnerships with Traditional Custodians, knowledge holders and other organisations operating within the Aerotropolis to embed First Nations knowledge and partnerships into Sydney Water’s ongoing management of Wianamatta and Country generally across Western Sydney. This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identified position. The role is open to, and applications will only be accepted from, people who identify as Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples pursuant to the exemption granted to Sydney Water under s126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977(NSW) sections 8 and 51. Key Responsibilities: * Establishment, development, and facilitation of the Recognise Country Panel concept with DPHI Planning and strategy or other similar outcome * Build and strengthen relationships with key Custodians, technical water professionals and Aboriginal representatives in government agencies. * Guide, strategise, build awareness of and implement outcomes identified in the Consultation Outcomes Report: Aerotropolis Stormwater Catchment Scheme Plans – Aboriginal Engagement 2022. Essential Requirements: This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identified position.
