- Maintaining Absence Abuse Records.
- Coordinating meetings with employees regarding possible Absence Abuse.
- Determining possible Absence Patterns.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining numerous reports.
- Additional related duties as requested by department management.
- Compose and distribute routine inter-department correspondence as related to employee labor relations issues.
- Assist with ER/LR administrative functions.
- Acts as a liaison between team members and the ESC regarding possible Absence patterns.
- Champion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible corporate behavior in regards to possible Absence abuse and/or patterns.
- Assist with responding to unemployment claims.
- Assist with creating files for new hire employees.
- Assist with upkeep of Grievance records.
- Assist with employee meeting requests.
- Assist with sending contact letters.
- College Degree in Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, HR or Business Administration or work experience equivalent preferred.
- Previous HR experience preferred.
- Previous casino experience preferred.
- Must have computer knowledge and word processing skills.
- Basic knowledge of FMLA and related employment related law.
- General knowledge of National Labor Relations Act and Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communications skills (verbal and written), and the ability to handle complex and emotional issues.
- Some operations experience preferred.
- Successful candidate should have experience working in a Union environment, including collective bargaining and grievance handling.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships and ability to influence.
- Strong computer literacy skills required.
- Problem solving, decision making and project management skills required.
- Ability to handle complex and emotional issues while maintaining confidentiality required.
- Must possess excellent telephone etiquette and employee service skills.

- Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.

- Must be able to maneuver around property to pick up and deliver various paperwork.
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Absence Integrity Specialist is responsible for the completion of duties such as maintaining record keeping for Employee Absence Abuse program, determining possible Absence patterns, scheduling and meeting with employees regarding possible absence abuse, maintaining and processing e-forms, and assist ER/LR team with administrative functions such as maintaining grievance records, unemployment, new hire packets, employee meeting request, and sending contact letters.
Provides organizational and clerical assistance to the Labor Relations Manager and Labor Relations Advisors to ensure timely and efficient preparation of all documentation needed for the Absence Abuse program. Absence Integrity Specialist will have continuous communication with the Employee Service Center to assist the department on possible Absence Abuse.
