Job Description

Provide academic advising for undergraduate students in the AESHM Department and Fashion Design and Merchandising (FDM) Program, including course planning, registration, degree audits, and understanding academic policies.
Connect students with university resources related to academic success, wellness, financial aid, study abroad, and career development.
Teach and coordinate orientation and professional development courses tailored to first-year students.
Support recruitment and retention efforts by engaging with prospective students and families during campus visits, orientation programs, and special events.
Collaborate with advising teams, faculty, and international partners to enhance student experiences, including coordinating study abroad opportunities with institutions like the London College of Fashion.
Position Type: Full-time, continuing appointment.
Location: On-site at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.
Residency Requirement: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
