What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a patient resource for scheduling and billing inquiries, facilitating comprehensive data collection
- Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments using hospital systems
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and payments for patient accounts
- Conduct insurance verification and benefits explanations, and gather outside medical records as needed
- Assist other teams and participate in the orientation and training of new staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of three (3) years of customer service experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in a healthcare environment
- Good communication skills and general knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in computer skills and telephone etiquette
- Exceptional customer service skills

- CHAA Certification
- Bachelor’s degree
