      OVERVIEW

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Manage end-to-end renewal and proposal processes by engaging clients, gathering information, preparing documentation, and leading client meetings to ensure timely and strategic outcomes.

      • Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and carriers, negotiating on behalf of clients to secure competitive coverage and favorable terms.

      • Provide ongoing service support, including processing certificates, handling administrative tasks, and assisting with claims reporting, follow-up, and client advocacy throughout the claims process.

      • Conduct thorough policy, coverage, and exposure reviews to identify potential gaps and proactively support client risk management and insurance needs.

      • Strengthen client relationships through proactive communication, social engagement, and identification of cross-selling opportunities to drive retention and growth.

      • Utilize internal management systems such as ImageRight and AMS 360 with proficiency to maintain accurate records, ensure workflow efficiency, and support team collaboration.

      • Contribute to a positive work environment by mentoring colleagues, modeling open communication, and pursuing continuous personal and professional development aligned with Alera Group’s culture.


      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Minimum of 2 years of Commercial Insurance experience, with a solid foundation in client service, risk assessment, and policy management.

      • Licensed in Property & Casualty, with additional insurance designations (such as CIC or CPCU) considered a valuable asset.

      • In-depth understanding of underwriting principles and insurance coverage, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate complex policy information.

      • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at leveraging technology for efficient documentation, communication, and workflow management.

      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and client profiles.

      • Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented, consistently ensuring accuracy and quality in client service and documentation.

      • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
