      An entertainment company is seeking an Accountant to join their team in Irvine, CA. This position is responsible for preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, royalty reports, support tax compliance and assisting with others in the accounting department. A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, 3 years of accounting experience, and GL experience are required. This is a full-time, in-person, exempt position with excellent benefits and 401k.


      Accountant Duties:

      -Preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations and royalty reports

      -Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts

      -Input cash receipts from customers

      -Assist with preparing various federal and state tax and property tax filings

      -Assist with pulling supporting documentation for external and internal auditors

      -Participate in strategic financial projects including upgrades and implementation of ERP software

      -Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns

      -Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

      -Comply with financial policies and regulations

      -Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.


      Accountant Skills:

      -Must have a bachelors degree in accounting or related field

      -Must have 3 years of accounting experience

      -Must have GL experience

      -Proficient computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases
