      The Role

      OnePay is seeking a highly experienced accounting professional to join its world class Accounting team and help us scale for the future. In this role, you will support the corporate accounting functions, leveraging expertise with US GAAP and focus on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will require a strong understanding of financial reporting and partner cross-functionally to collaborate across departments to support operational processes to help us scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations in fast-paced environments like fintech. Experience with supporting automation initiatives is critical as we continue to support growth.

      This role is responsible for

      • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements and management reports. Deliver clear financial insights to internal stakeholders and support leadership reporting.

      • Close Management: Lead components of the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis, ensuring precision and timely completion.

      • Automation & Process Improvement: Partner with Finance Systems to streamline processes and implement automation solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy.

      • Compliance & Controls: Maintain a strong internal control environment aligned with SOX standards. Identify risks and enhance automated controls where appropriate.

      • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with finance, operations, treasury and other business partners to ensure alignment on accounting policies and business initiatives.

      • Audit Support: Serve as the key point of contact for external auditors, preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation to ensure smooth audit execution.

      You Bring

      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, CPA preferred.

      • 6+ years of relevant experience.

      • Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and technical accounting standards.

      • Experience in the fintech or technology sector is highly preferred.

      • Proven experience with ERP Software (ex. NetSuite) and exposure to automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, BlackLine, FloQast, or similar).

      • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
