What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform cost analysis and report accounting irregularities to management
- Collaborate with the production department to analyze monthly plant expenses
- Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company policies
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of balances
- Support the Controller with income tax and regulatory filing requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-entity environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
