- Work with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Enter and analyze data in computer spreadsheets and other forms.
- Receive, process, and reconcile statements.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Generate and review monthly reports.
- Assist with preparation for annual audits and prepares financial information for management.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures including preparation of all required documentation and forms.
- Clarify and advise management regarding Federal and State policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices.
- Perform administrative and other tasks as needed.
- Process taxes and payment of employee benefits and company obligations
- Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
- Proven experience as an accounting professional
- Experience with Unanet or similar system.
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and best practices
- Knowledge of legal requirements and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Experienced in QuickBooks system
- Advanced Level Excel skills
- Unanet Knowledge
- Experience with iSolved HCM
- Candidates with demonstrated Unanet and federal contracting expertise who can contribute from day one will be considered for the higher end of the salary range.

About this position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting and Bookkeeping Staff member to support the financial operations of our organization. This position is responsible for managing key accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
