Job Description
- Req#: 84645
- Responsible for the accounting, reporting and tax compliance of one or several entities of the group;
- Accurate and timely accounting and reporting of the company as per Group (IFRS) and statutory standards;
- Review the design of the internal control framework for the accounting and reporting function, and propose meaningful changes, ensure the operational effectiveness of the controls and / or prepare remediation plan;
- Key contact for the internal / external during the audit fieldwork;
- Supervision and training of the junior accountant activities;
- Lead / participate to process and system improvement project;
- Collaborate with the other corporate function (tax, treasury, legal etc.) in order to cope with legal, tax, internal changes;
- Improve and optimizing the monthly closing and reporting processes, including additional checks, standardization, minimization of manual adjustments, automation, etc.;
- Preparation of relevant financial analysis to the different stakeholders.
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree Business/Finance/Accounting or equivalent qualification or experience;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a multinational and complex environment. Audit experience with a big 4 company would be an advantage;
- Advanced knowledge of IFRS and Swiss accounting standards;
- Experience with ERP design and implementation, and data migration would be appreciated.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite would be an advantage;
- Self-direction, ability to prioritize and excellent organizational abilities;
- Creative problem solver who is flexible and open to new ideas and new approaches;.
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of personal integrity, confidentially and professionalism;
- Effective with working independently, multiple team and cross functional environment;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (both written and spoken);
- Excel skills at advanced level required - Power BI an advantage.
- Valid work permit in Switzerland.

Job Summary
Our team is currently looking for a self-driven and highly motivated person with good communication, problem solving and analytical skills to take the position of Accounting and Reporting Specialist. In this role you will provide accurate information for financial reporting and have specialised knowledge of all processes and procedures. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. May act as a lead, providing subject matter guidance to team members.
You will be based in Pully, Lausanne/Switzerland.
