      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collect, post, and reconcile all payments in the Cashier Unit, including checks, cash, and credit card payments
      - Process all forms of payments in the Cashier Unit's accounting system
      - Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and account balances
      - Assist in preparing invoices, billings, and vouchers as needed
      - Support administrative tasks within the department as required

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school or equivalent
      - Accounting Assistant 5: No specific type or amount of experience required
      - Accounting Assistant 6: One year of administrative support experience
      - Accounting Assistant E7: Two years of administrative support experience, including one year equivalent to an Accounting Assistant 6
      - Experience in posting financial data to ledgers and reviewing financial information

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with cashiering or applying payments to accounts
      - Customer service experience in a related field
      - Familiarity with accounting software or financial systems
      - Additional certifications in accounting or finance
      - Strong organizational and communication skills
