What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the procure to pay function, ensuring timely and accurate accruals, processing of invoices and payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships
- Manage treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment strategies to optimize company liquidity
- Implement opportunities to streamline procure to pay and treasury processes for enhanced efficiency and compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting related to procure to pay and treasury operations, supporting overall financial transparency
- Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of experience in corporate accounting, with a solid background in accounts payable and treasury management
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to drive financial efficiency and support strategic initiatives
- Experience in maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies
- Proven ability to manage financial operations and identify process improvements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in implementing automation tools for procure to pay and treasury functions
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Workday, or similar ERP systems
- Background in the healthcare or technology industry
- Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting
- Experience with cash management and liquidity forecasting
