      • Position Summary:

        To direct, manage, supervise and coordinate all the activities of the Accounting personnel. Build a team environment where all team members develop and maintain a collaborative and respectful working relationship, and consistently provide quality service for our Customers. Responsible for providing end month accurate financials to management and developing new strategies for our company.

        Essential Functions:

      • Manages team to ensure accurate and timely period closes
      • Ensures timely and accurate financial reporting
      • Leads budgeting, forecasting, and analytical activities
      • Provides analytical support to the Corporate Accounting team and management
      • Upholds Company accounting policies and procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
      • Oversees and ensure a strong internal control environment
      • Manages financial application systems to ensure best practices are followed
      • Supervises, trains, coaches, develops, and assesses staff to ensure continuous growth through orientations, direction, and feedback
      • Plans, develops, and delivers financial and operational statements to senior management
      • Strategically partners with the business to support operational objectives
      • Manages the general ledger/chart of accounts
      • Other duties as assigned
      • Experience:

      • Seven to ten years of professional accounting experience
      • Prior experience as a Supervisor or senior level accounting manager preferred
      • Experience with Foundations, Sage or similar systems
      • Strong internal control background
      • Experience in financial planning and analysis
      • Education:

      • Four-year college degree in accounting or related field,
      • Work Environment:

        This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
