What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review, verify, and process a high volume of vendor invoices for accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with completing weekly payment runs and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed
- Collaborate with Operations Departments to address accounts payable inquiries promptly
- Process employee expense reports and communicate with external vendors regarding invoice status
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support the Accounts Payable Manager in implementing efficiencies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in full-cycle Accounts Payable or a related finance role
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a high-volume accounts payable environment
- Familiarity with advanced Excel functions such as PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in a nonprofit or community-based organization
