What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the Accounts Payable team, ensuring high productivity and accuracy
- Manage the daily accounts payable workflow and set performance metrics for the team
- Direct the full-cycle payment process for all consolidated entities, including ACH and Check Runs
- Oversee Accounts Payable month-end closing activities and prepare complex accruals
- Manage the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including new vendor setup and communication
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven accounts payable environments
- Exceptional system skills with extensive experience in a major ERP system; Flexi Software experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing staff and engaging with various stakeholders
- Strong people skills and emotional intelligence with a positive attitude
