      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Prepare and process invoice payments, contract payments, and supplier management activities
      - Apply accounting principles within governmental accounting, including encumbrance accounting
      - Verify, analyze, and correct financial invoices and bills
      - Analyze payment trends, troubleshoot system issues, and produce reports
      - Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to ensure compliance with state and federal policies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - One year of accounting experience in purchasing, accounting, data processing, or related activities
      - High School Diploma or GED
      - Knowledge of Arizona Financial System: AZ360 for all financial transactions
      - Effective communication skills with staff, senior management, and the public
      - Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and policies

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Proficiency in Arizona Procurement Portal for oversight and entry of invoices
      - Experience with automated accounts payable/receivable and payroll systems
      - Strong organizational skills for project tracking and report generation
      - Knowledge of fiscal and financial record-keeping practices
