What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring three-way matching with purchase orders and receiving reports
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers and reconcile vendor accounts while resolving discrepancies
- Allocate costs to appropriate departments and maintain vendor accounts, verifying tax documentation
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs including ACH, wire transfers, and checks
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliation of accounts payable aging reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective teamwork and vendor relationship management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, production cycles, and procurement best practices
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Epicor, SAP, Sage, Oracle, or QuickBooks
- Knowledge of financial reporting tools like OneStream or Microsoft Power BI
- Experience with Concur or similar travel expense reporting tools
