- Draft contracts, task orders, work requests or any other documents necessary to acquire goods and services.
- Draft and/or review Requests for Proposals (RFP) and communications involved with awarding the contracts.
- Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) management, creating and routing Purchase Requests (PR), and authoring Statements of Work (SOW)
- Attend client meetings in and outside the Washington DC area including CONUS and OCONUS (Hawaii) military bases and shipyard locations as needed
- Support the development of plans to streamline sonar sensor contracting and acquisitions for follow on tasking
- Bachelor’s degree AND 7+ years of contracting experience to include, but not limited to, drafting and modifying contracts, tasks orders, work requests, and SOW
- Project/program management experience supporting a Navy Program Office
- Experience generating purchase requests (PR)
- Experience with standard procurement system (SPS) for contract management and execution
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations System (DFARS), principles of acquisition planning, and requirements necessary to accomplish assigned duties
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, and comfortable with speaking publicly
- Ability to support the client during planned and ADHOC meetings both local and various CONUS and OCONUS (Hawaii) military bases and shipyard/overhaul locations
- Must be proactive, possess the ability to work in a fast paced/high demand environment, work well independently and in a team environment, and possess the ability to maintain a high level of high performance in stressful environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and MS Teams)
- Must be willing to travel up to 40% as needed
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Experience with managing purchase request (PR) via Systems Product Solutions (SPS) or any other managing tool
- Basic familiarity with NAVSEA submarine program offices
- Experience working in a naval shipyard environment
- Experience as a technical acquisition writer for the US Navy or any other branch of the DoD
VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is seeking a mid-senior level Acquisition Contracts Analyst to support our NAVSEA customer located in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid position reporting onsite 3 days a week.

Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $150,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTA's total compensation package for employees.
