What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide actuarial support for annuities and life insurance products
- Commit to studying with the goal of completing all ASA or FSA exams
- Participate in a two-year rotation schedule supporting various business units
- Assist in modeling, pricing, valuation, and risk analysis
- Adjust work resources and deadlines in response to changing business priorities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or a related analytical major
- Passed a minimum of 1 actuarial exam for the Society of Actuaries
- Intermediate computing and programming skills in Python, Matlab, Excel, R, VBA, SQL, or similar
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn and sound business judgment skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional actuarial exams completed beyond the minimum requirement
- Experience with actuarial modeling or financial analysis
- Familiarity with additional programming languages or software tools
- Previous internship experience in actuarial or finance roles
- Demonstrated leadership or involvement in relevant extracurricular activities
