Employer is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join our team. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to develop actuarial analyses, with a focus on either pricing or reserving, in accordance with CAS principles. Your work will directly contribute to the overall performance of our actuarial area. You will learn how to make changes necessary to keep the analyses up-to-date and error-free. We are looking for someone who can understand and communicate the analyses undertaken to others in the actuarial area.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 0-2 years of experience in related roles
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience carrying out complicated quantitative analyses, preferably related to financial math or insurance
- General knowledge of either SAS or SQL
Preferred:
- Credit for at least one exam on the current CAS syllabus
- General knowledge of insurance operations and insurance accounting
- General knowledge of insurance regulation
Soft Skills:
- Works independently under general supervision
- Makes decisions for various situations related to specific tasks, applying judgment to interpret related information, policies, and procedures
- Learns and utilizes efficient and effective ways to update existing processes
- Manages relationships within the actuarial department and across the organization
- Ability to communicate with employees within and outside of the actuarial area
