Job Description

- Vision and Goals for ADDP in collaboration with MBC
- Plan activities, lessons on daily living skills and community outings weekly.
- Provide leadership, teaching, direction and training for program participants.
- Regular communication and collaboration with ADDP team members
- Attend weekly staff meetings and All Access meetings
- Develop and maintain safe, clean, aesthetic learning environments.
- Communication and coordination with families, participants, caregivers and volunteers
- Collaborate across ADDP locations
- Support and participate in all Access events
- Other duties as assigned by the ADDP Coordinator
- Previous experience managing staff and volunteers
- Previous experience working with people with special need
- BA or BS degree required; divinity degree desirable
- Able to recruit and develop teams to fulfill the mission of MBC
- Passion for serving the church.
Leading the Adults with Disabilities Day Program alongside other team members. Position includes hands on teaching about a variety of life skills, spiritual knowledge, social skills, independence and overall growth and development. Position also includes planning weekly and monthly schedules, regular communication with volunteers and families, supervising behavior management for individuals in the program. This position requires excellent communication skills, organization skills and spiritual maturity. Requirement for leader to be actively engaged in McLean Bible Church. Full-time salary position; health benefits included.
