What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist students with didactic coursework, including Anatomy, Pharmacology, Clinical Medicine, and more
- Offer tailored guidance on medical knowledge, clinical skills, and professionalism for Doctor of Physical Therapy students
- Collaborate with course instructors to focus on primary content areas for tutoring sessions
- Provide feedback on student progress and document tutoring sessions using the university's learning management system
- Create engaging activities that demonstrate real-world applications of course concepts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must hold a Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active license to practice Physical Therapy in Massachusetts
- Commitment to professional education and student success
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and interact effectively with students, faculty, and healthcare professionals
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in tutoring or teaching in an academic setting
- Familiarity with learning management systems and online tutoring platforms
- Background in developing educational materials or resources for students
- Strong networking skills within the healthcare industry
