      General Summary

      Indiana Tech is accepting applications for Adjunct Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences for the Child Development and Transition to Teaching program. The present opportunity is for online only.

      Essential Duties & Responsibilities

      Course goals and objectives are set by the dean. Additionally:

      • Engage with students in a manner that optimizes student success in an virtual setting. ­­­­
      • Deliver engaging and effective courses to meet the program learning outcomes.
      • Ability to work with a diverse student population.

      Qualifications & Experience

      • Master’s degree in Child Development, Education, or related field
      • Active Teaching License, preferable for elementary age population, Required
      • Special Education, or related certification, preferred
      • Online teaching experience required.
      • Demonstrated evidence of engaging and motivating students in a virtual setting.
      • Previous work experience in school setting, preferred
      • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student population.

      Working Conditions

      Work is normally performed in an online classroom environment.
