What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach online courses in the Electrical Engineering Technology program, covering topics such as circuit analysis and digital electronics
- Deliver effective courses that meet established learning outcomes
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students through the online learning management system (LMS)
- Conduct a one-hour live session each week for student engagement
- Incorporate current developments in electrical engineering technology into course content
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree with industry experience will also be considered
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Previous online teaching experience at the college level
- Familiarity with a Learning Management System
- Ability to effectively use technology in teaching and communication
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in teaching online courses
- Familiarity with current trends and technologies in electrical engineering
- Experience using various educational technologies to enhance student learning
