What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach the course UNSY 319 - Cybersecurity and Countermeasure Considerations
- Cover emerging threats and hazards involving cybersecurity in uncrewed systems
- Assess vulnerabilities within platform components, data links, and communication systems
- Utilize tools and methods for protecting and encrypting platform components and data links
- Provide proof of qualifications, including official transcripts and documentation of experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be located within the United States while working for the employer
- Experience with unmanned and/or robotic systems in military or civilian organizations
- Active membership in relevant professional organizations related to unmanned systems
- Applicable professional certification in unmanned systems operation or maintenance
- Degrees in fields such as Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Active rated/certified military operations or maintenance officer for unmanned systems
- Membership in engineering societies such as the National Academy of Engineering
- Experience with C2/C3/C4 technology and principles
- Advanced degrees in relevant STEM fields
- Proven track record of teaching or training in related subjects
