- Req#: 5950
- Represent Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) in the handling of insurance claims by providing exceptional customer service. This will include handling physical and property damage claims, including confirming coverage, assessing, negotiating and settling claims.
- Discuss benefits, coverage, liability, Driver Safety Rating impacts and claim settlement with customers.
- Respond to public inquiries and customer concerns as required.
- Communicate with customers, witnesses, third parties and other business partners, in a timely manner, by telephone, written correspondence and in person.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of general office, customer service or call centre experience.
- Two-year diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- One year of general office, customer service or call centre experience.
- Demonstrated oral and written communications skills.
- Must have a valid 5F driver’s licence.
- Must have access to a personal vehicle.
- Must be willing and able to travel, as required.

Manitoba Public Insurance is currently accepting applications for adjusting opportunities on a term basis. As an adjuster, you will acquire the skills necessary to adjust to all types of physical and property damage claims. In addition to investigating, assessing, negotiating and settling claims, you will advise customers on available benefits, liability surcharges and merit/discount programs.
