      Title: Administrative and Fiscal Support
      Position Number: CASUAL
      Hiring Unit: C OF NAT SCI, SCHOOL OF LIFE SCIENCES, SCHOOL OF LIFE SCIENCES
      Location: UH at Manoa
      Salary: $25.64-26.90/hour
      Full Time/Part Time: Part-time
      Temporary/Permanent: Temporary
      Other Conditions: General funds. Appointment to begin approximately mid August 2024.

      Duties and Responsibilities
      Duties include directing daily activities of the office and delegating tasks to appropriate office personnel. Coordinating and running meetings with faculty and staff to ensure clear communication and efficient operation of the department office. Establishes a calendar for all important dates and deadlines and ensures that the necessary work is completed to meet all deadlines. Manages the tasks to support procurement, including the processing of requisitions, interdepartmental orders, purchase orders, and other related documents. Reviews and processes personnel and fiscal workflow, tracking approval routing through completion.

      Minimum Qualifications
      2 or more years of experience in higher education environment; Baccalaureate degree from a 4 year accredited university; Functional knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and systems associated with fiscal and administrative support.

      Desirable Qualifications
      Experience working in the UHM systems: KFS, RCUH, eTravel etc.
