      Northrop Grumman has an opening for an Administrative Assistant 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Global Supply Chain organization for the Advanced Weapons Business Unit. This position will be located in Northridge, CA

      We are seeking an independent thinker with a track record of excelling in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, fun and collaborative team-based environment. The position requires excellent communication skills, an ability to multi-task and organize/prioritize tasks independently, strong time management skills, strong office management and interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

      This position will report to the Director of Global Supply Chain and provide support throughout the Director’s organization as required.

      • Ability to work an amazing work schedule (4/10 Shift schedule - Monday-Thursday)
      • The selected candidate must have excellent interpersonal and organization skills and ability to interface with senior level management and executives.
      • Arrange meetings and teleconferences
      • Maintain and synchronize calendars
      • Make travel arrangements, preparing and submitting expense reports-Domestic & International
      • Purchase/distribute supplies, order meals/refreshments for meetings
      • Coordinate on-boarding of personnel
      • Manage/procure office supplies
      • Answer questions and solve problems related to office operations and established policies and procedures
      • Coordination of onsite meetings of external visitors and offsite meetings with external stakeholders
      • Coordinate office workspace planning, ordering office equipment with the facilities and IT organizations
      • Support and collaborate with other Administrative Assistants as needed
      • Support special event planning and catering, such as meal planning, ordering food from local cafeteria or caterers, and in rare cases delivering food, clean up and expensing
      • Review drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage with strong attention to detail

      Basic Qualifications:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of additional education and/or related experience
      • U.S. citizenship
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, OneNote
      • Proficiency in editing written material for correct spelling and grammar
      • Experienced with organizing/maintaining/deconflicting schedules, calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements
      • Prior experience working as an Administrative Assistant or performing equivalent responsibilities

      Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $106,300.00

      The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

      Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
