      Under the direction of an M-10 through M-11 level administrator, perform a variety of difficult and often complex specialized and responsible secretarial and administrative assistant duties to relieve the administrator of operational detail.

      Type of position : Full-Time - Monday – Friday

      Anticipated Start Date : July 2024

      Salary : Range CL-32 $4,405 - $5,510 Monthly

      Initial Salary Placement : New employees start at Step A ($4,405) or B ($4,659) on the salary schedule. Advanced salary placement may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

      Any combination equivalent to:

      • Graduation from high school or equivalent. One year of related college courses preferred.

      • Three years increasingly responsible administrative secretarial experience including experience transcribing minutes for committee meetings. Experience in an educational setting preferred.

      VETERAN'S POINTS:

      • Veterans not previously employed by the District, with 30 days or more of service who become eligible for appointment by attaining the passing mark established for the examination, shall be allowed an additional credit of five (5) points and disabled veterans shall be allowed an additional credit of ten (10) points, which shall be added to the percentages attained in the examinations by the veterans.

      • Any applicant who claims veteran's credit must submit Form DD 214 a t the time the employment application is submitted. Failure to submit Form DD 214 at the time of application shall result in no veteran's credits being considered or added to any passing score.

      ASSESSMENT PROCESS

      The assessment process for this position may include any combination of the following: application screening for initial qualifications, supplemental training and experience screening, documentation(s)/ certification(s) screening, written examination, performance examination, and/or oral examination. The District reserves the right to utilize a flexible pass point (cut-off) on any test part to meet the staffing needs as determined by the District.

      If you participate in and fail any examination segment, you must wait a period of 90 days (~3 months) to test again for the same classification during a posted recruitment.

      ASSESSMENT DATES

      The following dates are tentative and may change depending on the needs of the recruitment.

      Application Screening: June 6 - June 10, 2024

      Written / Performance Examinations: June 12 - 18, 2024

      Oral Panel Interview: June 24 - 26, 2024

      Final Selection Interview: July 8 - 12, 2024
