Job Description

Reitmans (Canada) Limited adds hundreds of new items each week to their 3 Retail Brand Websites - Reitmans, RW&CO, Penningtons.

The Photo Studio Assistant plays a key role in our E-commerce business by owning the physical and systemic movement of the digital product assets through the pipeline.

Collaborating closely with the Photo Studio Coordinator and Supervisor and Brand Marketing teams, the Assistant is responsible for the organization and inspection of product samples and tracking the shoot lifecycle as well as ultimately pushing all photos through the digital item stages that support each brands E-commerce production.

Responsibilities:

• Upload photos to shared platform once shoot is complete, and verify photos making slight modifications when necessary;
• Responsible for the physical organization of the photo shoot sample closet including organizing samples by category, schedule, and priority;
• Manage sample logistics including - pack, unpack, send back to vendors, distribution center and track;
• Follow seasonal styling guidelines provided by brand e-commerce marketing teams and translate styling trends into e-commerce friendly looks;
• Pre-style, organize and prep garments and accessories to ensure all items are photo ready prior to shoots;
• Care for all inventory and samples. Notify vendors when merchandise is damaged or flawed.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Competencies:

• College degree;
• Minimum 1 year's experience in administration tasks;
• Excellent organization skills & multitasking;
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office suite;
• Strong communication skills (spoken & written);
• French (spoken & written) is required.
