- Observe applicable safety requirements, use safety equipment provided, implement appropriate safety practices at all times and report immediately any unsafe working conditions or hazards.
- Work order management and recordkeeping related to asset management and real property inventory in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
- Collect, maintain and update records related to Global Information Systems (GIS) in accordance with agency and industry standards
- Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and data collection
- Assist in preparation of contract, permitting, and purchasing paperwork preparation and document submission including monthly credit card reconciliation.
- Assist with performing annual energy, recycling, sustainability, ADA, and safety audits of facility wide operations.
- Maintain project filing systems and keep filing up to date across multiple projects
- Develop and maintain both hard copy and electronic records filing systems and digitize paper records for easier access and search.
- Assist with maintaining SDS records and chemical inventory on site.
- Create, maintain and update safety training records and training plans.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Position Information
Under the direction of the ZEED Asset and Facilities Services Manager, provide administrative support for the facilities departments of the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park. The facilities departments are responsible for the physical plant and the maintenance of facilities and grounds for both the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and Northwest Trek Wildlife Park.In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to:
Associate's degree in public administration, office management, administrative support, or closely related field and at least 1 year of experience in facility operations. Two or more years of related experience may substitute for the degree requirement. Competency with MS Office and other basic computer functions.
