Job Description

- Answer phones and direct calls to staff members, as appropriate.
- Ensure timely scheduling and coordination of joint, multidisciplinary forensic interviews and/or other CAC services for alleged child, adolescent, and adult victims/witnesses
- Collect case information from MDT members and enter into NCATrak Management System (CMS)
- Notify MDT members regarding scheduled appointments.
- Document MDT meetings and action items.
- Prepare, organize and maintain case files and records in NCATrak
- Ensure all areas, including the waiting area, conference rooms, interview rooms, restrooms, and equipment are maintained and in good condition.
- Verify demographic information with clients and update information, as necessary.
- Monitor and address needs of families while at the CAC.
- Scan case documents into the NCATrak
- Manage CAC calendar.
- Maintain inventory of all office supplies, forms, etc.
- Maintain inventory of child-appropriate snacks for clients • Compose, update, copy, scan, fax, shred and file documents, as needed.
- All other responsibilities and duties as from time to time designated by the Center Coordinator or added to the scope of responsibility for this position.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Ability to excel in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Experience working in a large and high paced urban/suburban Human Services Agency.
- Meet all training and performance standards and demonstrate proficiency as required by the agency.
- Wear and use agency protective apparel and equipment in the performance of their assigned duties, if applicable.
- May be required to successfully pass preemployment checks which may include reference checks, background investigations, and drug screenings, where applicable.
- Essential employees are expected to report during standard or non-standard hours as operations necessitate, or during emergencies. Essential employees are expected to report or remain at work when other County employees are granted Administrative Leave.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

The Prince George's County Department of Social Services is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist (Community Development Assistant 1G) position, Grade G12, within the Child Adult and Family Services (CAFS) Division
About the Position :
This is an entry level position, and s/he will be responsible for providing support for children and families and Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) members while on site at the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC). In addition, the incumbent is responsible for conducting general business operations and managing all office processes, procedures and systems related to client appointment scheduling, client intake, client data verification, and client record keeping. This position serves as a member of the Department’s Child and Family Services team and is supervised/evaluated by the CAC Director. This position is eligible for medical benefits.
