      Administrative Coordinator – Corporate Affairs

      What you will do

      Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will provide administrative support to the Associate Vice President, GCO Communications. You will also support the Executive Director, Enterprise Media, and the Executive Director, U.S. Portfolio Communications. You’ll join a collaborative Corporate Affairs team focused on delivering innovative and strategic communications to support Amgen’s mission.

      This is a remote role based in the United States.

      • Managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings across global time zones
      • Coordinating domestic and international travel, including expense reporting via Concur
      • Preparing and proofreading correspondence, reports, and presentations
      • Supporting department operations such as onboarding/offboarding, technology set-up, and workspace coordination
      • Partnering with other administrative professionals and functional areas to ensure alignment and communication
      • Collaborating on special projects and events as needed
      • Assisting with budget tracking and vendor coordination
      • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

      Basic Qualifications:

      Associate’s degree and 2 years of administrative experience

      Or

      High school diploma / GED and 4 years of administrative experience

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • 4+ years of experience supporting senior leadership in a corporate or biotech environment
      • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
      • Proficiency in Concur, Workday, and Microsoft Teams
      • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
      • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
      • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
      • High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information

      The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

      70,085.00 USD - 88,142.00 USD
